about
This song started as a Jamuary jam and evolved over the course of two sessions. It was composed with a "dawless" hardware setup with the Sequentix Cirklon at the core, and then multitracked into Pro Tools where the guitar and acoustic drums were later added.
For me the sounds for most of the track evoke the feeling of moving quickly on a sunny day with the wind blowing, like on a long stretch of road with the windows down, or as someone else mentioned to me, sailing on the open sea.
The artwork is a collage of sailing images generated via AI tools and composited to form the final abstract image.
